Redwood City PAL: United American Bank supports the Redwood City Police Activities League (PAL) by participating in its Holiday Toy and Book Drive. In 2011, the program provided over 12,000 toys and books to more than 500 families in need. The bank helps to collect the toys and books, and Santa Claus delivers them as presents to each child’s home escorted by uniformed police officers and firefighters.

Second Harvest Food: United American Bank assists the Second Harvest Food Bank to feed the hungry through its Food of the Month program. Second Harvest food collection barrels are prominently placed year ‘round in our bank lobbies, and we encourage our bank professionals and clients to deposit food items in them frequently. In addition, our professionals regularly volunteer on site at Second Harvest’s warehouse.
